Amalia's thoughts week 6

Today, 1 year ago, I was thrown out of LinkedIn. Today, 1 year ago, I had totally PANIC because I lost one of my most creative outlets. Today, 1 year ago, I started to think of starting a newsletter. The 17th of February, the first edition was sent out.

Because of my friend Aron that pushed me (THANK YOU), I ended up here and it's been fun ALMOST all the time.

I was just a baby (sorry to all of you that read that in the TikTok child voice), starting what I called the journey of "becoming a media house in 100 days", and had no clue how much time (!!!) and money (online ain't free) it would take but it's been so much worth it.

100 days became 366 and that I'm happy for.

I've learned so much about entrepreneurship, "selling" myself, my moral compass (why there's still no ads here), my tone of voice - but also I've learned a lot about you.

Value creation is a strange thing. I thought you would only be a bunch of young girls in tech reading this, but I'm really happy that I've been able to reach such a broad audience - you're not only male tech leaders and young women in tech, but also sales managers, non-profit leaders, and journalists.

So here's to growing your own platform! I recommend you all to do it. ”Ideas that make you feel free is always good”, as my favorite artist Markus Krunegård once said.

Congratulations to me and congratulations to you that decide to show up! Thank you for that. It means a lot to me.

Let's start off with thoughts from this week. They're not as happy as I'd hoped though, but I also wanna end on a more deeper note about finding myself again.
