Amalia's thoughts IWD edition

It's International Women's Day!!! And I'm not happy.
Amalia's thoughts IWD edition

Good morning friends ☕️

After a few days of skiing in Austria, sun bathing, and working, as well as socializing with a bunch of friends, I'm... exhausted. So, as it is IWD (International Women's Day) today, my micro feminist move is to be kind to myself and skip writing 90% of this newsletter hihi. (I was writing the majority of this newsletter Friday afternoon laying down in my bed with, literally, eyes half closed. I ain't doing anyone a favor trying to pin my thoughts down.)

But you'll get the usual newsletter tomorrow. Today, I'm travelling by train for many hours, which means I have many hours to write.

This morning, I'd like to direct my focus to the International Women's Day. Which feels a bit strange, because it's a day I haven't cared that much for the past couple of years. Rather, I'd wished it away. I hate all the "congratulations". I don't want flowers. I don't want anything else than equal pay, equal rights, equal treatment. For me, and for all my sisters out there.

But I care more now, due to the political climate in the world. If this is a day where people actually care for women, then let so be it.

Anyways, let's dig into the thoughts about IWD that have been putting burn marks into my brain the past couple of days.

Pssst. If you like this newsletter you can support it (I'd rather call it "buy me one or plenty fikas") here.
