Amalia's thoughts week 24

Gooood morning!!

The slow panic that hits you when you're now a founder and builder and Google's cloud services goes down?? I was also 1,5 beers in when the notice came. It's a reflection I have almost always: I almost never go without my computer anymore, and want to stay sharp to be able to fix things wherever I am.

Despite relying on other cloud services, it was soooo clear how brittle internet is. A lot of my third party providers had problems, and it was indeed a moment of "What... do I do?"

Every day is a new day of learning at this point.

Anyways, I've had a LOVELY week sitting up until late and building. It's SO fun to code again. I (often) feel like a little child. This week I learnt about vector-based semantic matching. Last week I built a scraper. Don't quiz me on it but it was SUPER FUN to be working data far off from frontend stuff.
